Preliminary Population Estimate (Permanent Residents)  

For 2008, the Bureau of Economic and Business Research at the University of Florida has
estimated Sebastian’s current population at 22,924.  

For 2007, the per capita income for Indian River County was estimated at $59,419. For the entire State of Florida, the income figure was $38,417.
